We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and comply with the Spam Act 2003 and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 and telemarketing rules.

1) Scope & contact

This Policy covers personal information collected via our websites, forms, ads, pages, emails, SMS and calls (the “Services”), and information we share with Partners to respond to your request.

2) What we collect

Contact & identifiers: name, email, phone, suburb/state, preferred contact time.

Context for introductions (optional): age band, household info, budget range, smoker status, basic health/lifestyle prompts (no detailed medical records), and other answers you provide.

Consent & logs: consent text, timestamp, referrer/source URL, IP address, user agent, interaction history.

Communications: emails/SMS; call recordings where permitted and with notice.

Device & usage: cookies/pixels/analytics (pages viewed, events, approximate location).

Partner feedback: whether contact was made, quote issued, sale/no sale (to measure quality and prevent fraud).

We do not intentionally collect government identifiers (e.g., Medicare, TFN) or sensitive medical records via our forms.

3) How we collect

Directly from you via forms, calls, SMS or email.

Automatically via cookies, pixels and analytics.

From Partners who report outcomes to us.

4) Why we use your information

Provide the Services and process your request to be contacted about life-cover options.

Share with selected Partners so they can contact you.

Verify contactability (phone/email checks), prevent fraud/duplicates, maintain Do-Not-Call preferences.

Communicate with you, including service messages and, with consent, marketing under the Spam Act (opt-out anytime).

Analytics, advertising measurement and service improvement.

Record-keeping, audits, security, legal compliance and responding to lawful requests.

Business transactions (e.g., merger/acquisition), subject to legal protections.

We collect, use and disclose only what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.

5) Consent & your choices

By submitting a form or interacting with us, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure as described. You may:

Unsubscribe email marketing via the link in any message.

Opt-out of SMS by replying STOP; reply HELP for help.

Ask not to be called; we will place you on our internal Do-Not-Call list.

Withdraw consent at any time (may affect our ability to provide the Services).

6) Cookies, pixels & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) to understand use and improve advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may not function as intended.

7) Disclosing information

We may disclose personal information:

to service providers (hosting, analytics, communications, verification, security) bound by contracts that restrict use to our instructions;

to Partners to respond to your request;

to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property or safety;

as part of a business transaction;

otherwise with your consent or as permitted by law.

8) Overseas disclosures

Some service providers or storage locations may be outside Australia (e.g., United States, Canada, EU, Singapore). Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the APPs (APP 8).

9) Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information (encryption in transit, access controls, logging, staff training). No method is perfectly secure; please take care online.

10) Access & correction (APP 12 & 13)

You may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if inaccurate, out-of-date or incomplete. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse access in limited cases under the APPs (we’ll tell you why).

11) Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above—including maintaining consent logs and resolving disputes—then de-identify or securely destroy it.

12) Children

The Services are for people 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

13) Complaints

Contact our Privacy Officer first. We will respond within a reasonable time (usually 30 days). If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) (www.oaic.gov.au) or, for telemarketing issues, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).

14) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy and will post the new date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
